    I am thinking of ordering FW 190 Configure to Order by phone instead of online because I am interested in $100 discount but I have some questions.

    1. Can you ask them to email you confirmation of your order along with the configuration of the notebook? I want to make sure that they don't configure the notebook differently than the one I order.

    2. How do you ask for $100 discount?

    3. How long will the $100 promotion last?

    1. They do that anyways, they send you confirmation and your order details.

    2. Tell them to match your discount on ebates. Just say that you can get a discount from there and you heard that you guys have a promo discount. Worked for me.

    3. No clue, i think they have it alll the time.

    All you gotta do is a little talking, tell them youll call back later if they dnt do it. Some of em prob dont want to bother because they have to ask there supervisor for permision.

    you have to mention the ebates thing. otherwise they will deny all knowledge of 100 dollar off. Its actually the price match guarantee so you have to mention that it is cheaper at ebates and they will take off the 100. You must do that otherwise they tell you.."we have no such promotion." It worked for me when i said its cheaper through ebates.

    They email you a confirmation first. It asks you is this what you ordered. Once you reply back the order will be put in. the person on the phone will wait until you reply back.
