When I choose Windows Vista Business, will it come with that downgrade to XP i've been hearing about? Also, does the AC adapter come with it, or would I really have to checkbox it in accessorize for $89.99 more? -.-

You will get an AC adapter with it. The accessory is in case you lose it or you want another so you can leave one in the office or whatever.

The downgrade should be in the box with Vista Business models, but Sony US apparently had problems getting their XP downgrade discs manufactured in time for the Z's launch, so if the disc is missing you need to order it from a web site. My Z (UK model) came with the downgrade disc in the box.

That's great, i wanted at least the Z540 for the dedicated video ram, but i haven't seen it anywhere else but Sony.com. Could i order the XP downgrade disc if i didn't purchase the Vista Business?

No, I don't believe so. Vista Business includes a clause in the license to allow downgrading to XP (to keep Microsoft's corporate customers happy). However, there are drivers and utilities for XP provided on Sony's web site. So if you have your own XP license and installation disc (and you slipstream the appropriate SATA drivers), you should have no problem.
Also note that Vista Business is the only version Sony offer a 'Fresh Start' option for (means they leave out a lot of crapware).
