I've been thinking about getting the Sony Vaio A series, but I have some concerns and hope someone can help.
1. Celeron M - Pentium M is too rich for my blood right now and I see that the differences are minimal when it comes to benchmarks and I can handle the lower battery life. (3hr 12min vs 4hr 26min according to Tomshardware) since I'll probably have places to plug into. But a big issue is heat, does the Celeron M generate more heat than Pentium M? I'd like some more comments on Celeron M if possible.
2. Quality - Some of my friends have been telling me how fragile the Sony Vaio is, but since A series is new I was wondering if anyone knows about the build quality for this notebook?
3. Screen - And finally I was wondering if I should go XGA or SXGA, my preferred resolution on desktop is 1280x768 but I'm willing to consider it if screen quality is somehow affected.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response, hopefully this is my last question before the reviews come out about it.
1. Are the optical drives swappable? -
Youhou, I have looked at the spec sheet for the A series. It doesn't seem like the optical drive are swappable. I also checked the japanese site and it didnt mention anything about the swappable drive. Of course, I won't know this til the actual thing arrives in the states. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I looked over those specs and wondered if I had missed something. Its out in the states apparently since we can order the A series on Sony's website right now.
