    Hi guys,

Okay so I bought a Vaio SR290 CTO, but I've been experiencing problems with the fan. For some reason, if I were to turn on the machine, the fan would be at full blast thinking the machine is hot...

So I dropped off my laptop last Monday and I still haven't gotten it back yet. I called them to ask which part was being ordered and it was a hard drive.

The problem was that if I turn on my laptop, the fan would be at full blast even if it is at a completely cold start...is the hard drive related to that issue? I plan on giving a call to Sony tomorrow to let them double check because I don't want to keep sending my laptop back and forth...

    Thanks for your input guys!

    Have a nice day!
