HI, I've been looking into these laptops in the UK, and I have heard a few reports dotted around the web about them having faulty wireless adapters?
I came onto this forum to check through the owners thread and things, see if I could find out more from actual owners (as well as any other reported faults).
Problem I had was... in the owners forum, I couldnt find anything for the FIT models. There were S15 and various F ones, but the F series seems to be from years ago so I'm guessing that isnt it...
The search didnt come up with anything either, unfortunately the word FIT is pretty commonly used lol.
So yeh, if anyone could let me know about the pros and cons of the FIT models, or could direct me to the correct owners thread if there is one, I'd be very grateful![]()

What a coincidence, I came looking for the same thing as you, but having taken the step of buying a Fit model and having had to return it day after buying because of the wireless issues/fault! I was hoping the problem was a one off, and getting another one would be fine, but clearly I read now it isn't!
I purchased a SONY VAIO F15A1M2ES model from a popular high street computer store and it really is a lovely machine, apart from the wireless was awful! I took it back today and their tech guys spent nearly 2 hours looking at it, and confirmed it was faulty, they seemed to think it was only broadcasting as a 802.1b/g, not the 'n' it should be! They did pose the point that they couldn't put it down to it being a 'bad card', manufacturer or something else so I came away having been refunded! They didn't suggest getting me a replacement which leads me to think that it is something they are aware of and expect, it wasn't even offered!!
It is shame, this would have been my third Vaio machine and they have so far been without issue,it is lovely machine ,and if they rectified the issue with the wireless adapter I would def buy it again!
I did try a usb adapter before I took the machine back and that makes the wireless work without problem, but why pay for an external part for a brand new 'expensive machine' machine, but I guess that is an option if you are happy with that!
If you know which 'only high street pc store' I mean, they have said they would always let you check in store - my problem was apparent in store straight away if you look at the wireless properties, if you can find one in store and check if its broadcasting as b/g/n, they even said they would open a new one before buying to look at the wireless of one you would take home!
problem I'm finding is that something with the similar specs, especially haswell processor, touchscreen and dedicated graphics is really hard to find, there is a really high spec HP envy in the same store, same price and for me having now seen the issue with the Vaio isn't limited to mine, they suggested that instead of the Vaio but having always bought Vaio Im hesitant! It is very similar, haswell i7 processore nvidia dedicated graphics 2gb, and has an intel wireless card!
One other thing with the Fit, that I was surprised to find was that the battery,( isn't how they have been in the past) etc is that is now all enclosed in the casing, you can't replace the battery or Ram etc yourself,!
Hope this helps, -
I have a Vaio FIT fully equipped with the i7,...
No problems yet after 2 months of daily use.
Couldn't be better.
Also the Wifi works constantly on 802.11n.
