I'm about to buy the S15 but just had a few questions about it:

Is there an option to turn the backlit keyboard off?

Is there a wifi switch on the keyboard to turn it on and off?

Can this be connected to dual monitors? if so, how?

Yes, the Vaio Control Center software allows you to customize when the keyboard backlight gets turned on and off.
You can choose to leave it always off, always on, or have it turn on based on the ambient light sensor

There is no wifi switch on the keyboard or on the side of the laptop unfortunately. However, Windows 8 does support an "Airplane Mode" which is basically a software switch.

Yes, it can. You can connect one monitor using the HDMI port and another using the VGA port.

I don't have mine in front of me but isn't there a Fn key that turns the wifi off?

For your HDMI question, I think it only supports up to 1920 x 1200.
