    Hi,

I am considering purchasing a Vaio SZ in the near future. I happened to see one on display at BestBuy and found it very appealing. However, from what I noticed it does not seem possible to scroll through webpages directly from the touchpad (i.e. no scroll button and no scrolling section on touchpad). Is this correct? I don't use an external mouse and find these scrolling features very useful. I would like to know if this is the case.

    Thanks!

You can scroll using the touchpad by sliding your finger down the right edge of the touchpad. SZ is a great notebook, get it!

Santa Rosa seems over rated. Unless the Robson memory is implemented. See the performance comparisons in reviews with Lenovos with T7300.

Would you buy it now, or wait for Santa Rosa? What would you say?

I don't have to say what I would do, I can say what I DID do... I ordered my SZ491N from amazon about 2 weeks ago and have been loving it every day since i got it. Finally I am in love with a windows machine as much as I was my 12in powerbook before it died. I learned my lesson from my last lost love and went ahead and got an extended warranty with accidental damage coverage from sonystyle. I say buy it, don't look back and love every moment of it. Something better is always on the horizon... Grab this one and make your way towards many happy sunsets. But that's just me!
