    Hey guys,

This is a long story but I'll try to make it as succinct as possible. I currently have a Sony Vaio SA with a 256GB SSD that suffered from motherboard failure. A friend offered to fix it and he did so by replacing the board, somehow, with a Sony Vaio VPC-SD400C motherboard (or what's the model the BIOS states). Since the motherboard is different from the original board by a country mile, the BIOS sees the 256GB SSD as four separate 64GBs drives. Windows does not boot, I cannot find any RAID settings in the Advanced tab in BIOS, and VAIO Assist does not work.

So what I want to know:
    - Is there any way to re-enable BIOS RAID settings within what I presume to be a motherboard for the VAIO SD model laptop? I can't find the settings.
    - Is there any way for me to recover the data from the SSDs or am I SOL? I've done some back up so its OK but I'd much prefer to retain my existing system.
    - If I did get a SA model motherboard, would it be able to automatically recognize the RAID array?

Basically what would you suggest the best course of action be? Thanks in advance for any help :)

    Edit:
If you want to know what my BIOS looks like, its like what this video shows. There are no useful options for anything!
