    Hi,

Just to share that I recently purchased an OWC 8GB module (meant for the 2012 Macbook Pro, I had no choice as it was the only brand offering a 8GB 1.35V module that could ship to Singapore at a reasonable price). It works perfectly in the S13. It could be a placebo effect but I thought the system felt a fair bit quicker upgrading from 8GB to 12GB.

As the ram module has a SPD, I could see that it runs at CAS latency of 9 at 667MHz i.e. the same speed as the OEM Samsung module it replaces. It only runs at CAS latency 11 if you run it at 800MHz. So for those worrying about running on "slower" memory, no worries there. CPU-Z reports that it's running at 1.28V.

    Cheers all.
