Folks,
I've searched the forum, however I was unable to find a definite answer to my question.
I have currently 2 chips ( 512 ) installed on my laptop. Both are infenion PC2-4200S with the following serial HYS64T64020HDL
I would like to install 2 x 1gb to make it 2gb in total.
Please advise which memory is compatible?
On ebay this one is available - Kingston 2GB 2 x 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2-533 Laptop Memory
however I am not sure, whether it is compatible or not.
Thanks for all your help beforehand!

Generally, you can install faster memory into a motherboard designed for slower memory as long as they have the same format. IE DDR2 with DDR2. So-Dimm with So-Dimm. 200 pin with 200 pin. Your Kingston memory should work but to be sure go to kingston website and check for compatibility with the model of your notebook.
Note that if the motherboard is designed for slower memory, you faster memory will run at the speed of the slower memory. IE a 667 MHz memory will run at 533 MHz if that is the speed that the motherboard is designed to run.
