    Hello all,

I bought a sony vaio VGN-B1XP few years ago. But recently the DVD drive (a Pioneer DVR-K14VAS) has been broken and I want to replace it by a new one.
Since the DVR-K14 is not a good drive, I am looking for another DVD-RW model that fits the SONY Vaio VGN-B1XP.

Could anyone suggest me any kinds of DVD-RW that fits my laptop and where I can buy it? Many thanks.

I'm not sure what kind of drive it is (9mm or 12mm) but if you can figure that out, probably any drive out there would fit. Of course I'm assuming that the face plate is flat out rectangular just like any other 'regular' drive out there.
