    as title,
I just bought the SA290X with intel 510 250G SSD..
but I found that when I installed the aiti-virus progrem, in the surface of IRST, which will show the current speed is running on 3GB/s, but when I unstalled it, it goes back to 6GB/s.. also the SATA benwidth is always changing from 3 (6g) to 2(3g)..
I've tried to update the Raid controller driver, but seems the sympton still happens, no matter installed the antivirus or not..

I fell really so sad about it.. just got my laptop for 1 day, Can anyone tell me if the problem is happened on the laptop or on the SSD?

btw, the SSD speed under SATA3 is 400MB for read.. is it usual?

400MB sounds about right for a single drive.

What AV software are you using? Try Microsoft Security Essentials
it's free, it's fast and I like it

    thanks for your help..
but I found the problem is when I reboot, the system will be under SATA2 (Radom), so just wondering to know if the issue is for SONY or INTEL?
And will the AV causes this problem?
