Well okay. So I own a Sony Vaio FZ-15G and have only 1 gig of RAM. So I was wondering what type of RAM is used in this laptop. I went through like all sites that would have any specifications for this but no help. Then I saw specs for FZ-25G and all that helped me in was that the RAM was DDR2 but not the specific channel for it. Any help would be appreciated in figuring out the type of RAM. lol

Any of these would work just fine.

Basically what your looking for is DDR2 667MHz ram. You might want to check if your laptop came with a 1GB stick of ram or two 512MB ram sticks.

Thanks all you guys this helped me a lot. And Tim, as far as I know and it also says on the Sony site, that there is a 1 gig stick in there.

Wow, one of those showed 4GB for $80! I can remember paying that much (maybe even a bit more) for a 512MB stick for a PowerBook not so many years ago and being thrilled with the great speed increase. LOL

Edit: darkevilsta, an app like CPU-Z (there are others) can take the guessing out of the RAM situation in your machine.
