    Hi guys how are you?

I`m with a problem and i`ll try to explain here, it`s hard because my english is not so good and the issue is a little complex, at least for me smile.gif

I bought this ultrabook at US last week SVT15112CXS, i was at NY

So, this one i think that comes with that Hibrids HDs the total size of the disk is 750GB and 24GB is supossed to be the SSD one

But the factory system comes wth a lot of junk pre installed, so i decided to delete all the partitions and make a clean install

Now the problem begins, it shows for me 2 physical disks one with 24Gb and another one with the rest of the space

If i install the Windows in the 24GB one i just have avaiable after something about 2 gb free, and it stays with 2 disks and not only one like the factory system installed and what it is supossed to be

Now what should i do to fix/ make the right thing and stays with the only 1 disk that was in the factory? i really need to stay with one disk showing with the total ammount right? Is it really have 2 physical Hdds? I`m a newbie about this kind of things

Any help will be nice guys

    Thanks

Sony T small SSD was setup for cache only by factory default. OS and the rest will be on main storage either hard drive or SSD.
If you have created recovery DVD, hope you did, you should run it to bring your laptop back to normal and from there you can just delete C drive.
Small SSD would not show up in your Windows Explorer.

Sorry, it is hard to know what to do now because you are not in the states.
However, at least you still can install Windows on main hard drive to have your laptop working again.
You then can google more for how to bring small SSD back to work.

I believe you can buy recovery disks from Sony. You could find out. Try to get the ones with less bloatware.

He is not in the states, so I doubt he can buy recovery from Sony. They don't ship international.
With a phone call, you can get it free within 30days of purchase or even longer depending on how you can persuade them.
I got one for free with my SVE14 after several months.

If you just installed drivers, it is not complete yet.
You have to download Sony Shared Library, VAIO Control Center, Sony Firmware Extension Parser.
If you want to use Assist Key, you have to install VAIO Care.
After you install all above utilities, VAIO button can be assigned by setting in VAIO Control Center

You can use uni extract 1.6 to extract setup file to get what you want.
