When I got my some 3 months back.I created the Recovery Disk on day 1 itself.

If I use the recovery disk to restore my VAIO SZ330 to factory image is it going to give me the restore partition or they will be gone?

Anyone in past did this please post your experiences.

you have two options of way with the Recovery Disk. 1.to recover your c:drive only. 2. to recover to the original state which will format your whole hdd, create a hidden partition for recovery and a c:drive(system preinstalled).

    Thanks for reply wuruoyu.

So if I Pick Option(2) after I complete the Recovery using my Recovery Disk I should get the Laptop back to the point as I bought it state..Is that True?

i have the sz480 and i made the recovery disks and when i tried to use them apparently the disk recovery software provided by sony was full of bugs and didnt let me reinstall anything.

i had to mail the computer back for reimaging.
