I recently bought a TZ150N as a good price finally. I installed Windows XP right away when I got it. Then I found out I couldn't partition my harddrive with Windows XP. So I heard Vista can do so, so I'm recovering my TZ. It takes forever to do so. I know I sound stupid of doing so...

    1) Is there any other way to partition my HDD for free without using Vista in XP?
    2) Is there a way in VAIO Recovery to just recover Vista without ANY of those softwares?

    Thanks a bunch!

I've never tried it, but Partition Logic is free and won some award:

As for the bloatware, sorry, you can't easily restore without the bloatware. You can uninstall it, of course, and then run a utility like CCleaner to remove all the remnants from the registry.

I finally did it. I actually manage to click "cancel" right when the bloatware installation starts up. Then it reboots into Vista without restarting itself. I also just installed Windows XP, but is there a built-in microphone on TZ? I cannot manage to get it working even all drivers are installed...why?
