    Hello there,

I purchased a Sony Vaio VGC-LS1 a month ago, formatted the hard drive because I didn’t want the trial/3rd party bundled programs & games etc. But unfortunately did not make the Recovery disk set before doing all this. I have a query:

This Recovery DVDs set i.e. http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/we...temID=599140&category=3&categoryName=Computer

    Comprises of how many DVDS?

Are windows MCE 2005, drivers & Sony soft wares all have to be installed or there is an option of customization??
Because I want to install the OS first & than the drivers next & may be won’t want to install Sony soft wares….is that possible?
As stated on the link that the Recovery DVDs only have windows OS, drivers & Sony soft wares & NO 3rd party programs…..but will one have a choice what to install from the recovery DVDs…….either windows only or drivers only or Sony software……Or ALL i.e. windows, drivers & Sony soft wares will be installed from the set of recovery DVDs??

    Hoping to hear from you,

    Regards,
