This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Is there a person here that would send me the recovery disc or the entire recovery partition? I have a fast FTP server, capable of 2MB/s transfer so speed is no problem.

    I would need them in English for FS, FE and SZ notebooks.

    The SZ1xx disc that the US Sony makes will not work on a Japanese model. I confirmed that.

    Tried to use an SZ160 recovery disc from a US machine on my European SZ1VP, but that didn't work either.

    If any of you have a UK SZ1XP or SZ1VP recovery disc on an FTP server, I'd really appreciate it......
