    Hello,

today my new Z11 with Windows 7 arrived. I tried to create the 2 Recovery Disks with the Vaio Software. But after 50% of creation, the program stopped and says that an error occured...

Is there a trick to solve this problem, or to create the recovery without the sony software?

What's the error message? Perhaps changing the brand/model of DVDs will help?

Yep. Same happened to me. I used Memorex DVDs. I have the good batch and the bad batch. Sadly, I have a few hundred of the bad batch which hasn't worked with any burner.

Memorex are made by imation, those should normally be very high quality disks, imation is a 3M brand.
