I have the FS570 with a Mat****a UJ-831Da drive. I'm about to do quite a bit of travelling so I wanted to be sure I won't have a problem with region lockouts on DVDs. Unfortunately, it seems like the drive cannot be easily tricked by Region Free Software. Has anyone found a way to get around this? I'm hoping I don't need to flash my firmware, but I guess I'll do it if I have to.

Did you try AnyDVD? There is a free trial on their website.

Yeah I've tried all the recommended software. AnyDVD, DVD Region + CSS Free and one more called something like Idle DVD. I get a "Failed to read DVD!" error when I insert a region 2 DVD into my region 1 player for AnyDVD. None of them seem to work. My players usually give up when they get to the CSS encrypted portions of the DVD. The same DVDs work fine on my desktop with the same software. (different drive) This is annoying.
