    Hey,

So I'm not a computer genius at all when it comes to setting things up, etc. I just bought a Sony Vaio yesterday and when I turned it on, it says to register the laptop and find a wireless connection. With all the other laptops I've had, i've never had to set up the wireless, I just turned it on and it picked it up...

It says to plug the ethernet cable from the wireless router into the computer but there are a ton of cords attached to the router, and around it, from our desktop we have....none of the cords I plugged in worked...I just tried a few random ones...

Does anybody know how to do this, or would be able to help me?

You don't have to register it. It's weird. Did you try finding your wireless network through WCZ utility (windows configuration zero). If it's not on go to Control Panel and start it after finding it in Services.
