    Heya dudes and duderinas!

Look, I'm not a newbie. Far from, I would say.

But I can't get VAIO Update 5 from the autostart. I've tried all the usual ways, autostart, registry, services.

I don't want to uninstall the program, just don't want it to start every time I restart. I use scheduling for this kinds of things.

But... So far I'm unable to remove from autostart.
    Anyone..? Shoot!

Vaio Update 5 starts from within Task Scheduler. It has an entry in the SONY tree in the task scheduler library. The default setting is to start on user logon - change to disabled or set your own schedule :)
