    Hi guys,
I've had a few problems with a Sony Vaio VGN-A215Z and I'd like to ask you for some help...
What happened basically was that I'm no longer able to see anything in windows. I mean, I can start the computer and I even listen to the windows loading up (with its standard sound) but the screen is absolutely black. I had a few problems with my graphics card and the last thing I did was uninstalling it... So now, I don't even see anything - I've tried safe mode and all the F8 options (at this stage I'm able to see stuff) but nothing works, so I'm left with no other option but to remove the hard drive - as I need to recover some information I have in there! After this I was planning on re-installing Windows on this machine...
This is where you come in! I've already took all the screws from under the laptop - and even the screws I found beneath the keyboard... I've also forced the little protections near the USB ports, but I'm still unable to remove the cover of the top of the laptop - this is the only way to access the hard drive...
Do you guys have any kind of suggestion?
Please give me a hand as I need to sort this out ASAP...
    Thanks a lot!
