Hi everyone, My DC socket on my SONY FE became very loose and was often losing power, As such I ordered a replacement from Sony and installed it myself, I was quoted over $300 to do this by several repair places but in the end did it myself. Everything is working perfectly and interestingly enough the new socket is a slightly different design one which looks far more stable using a internal second tube rather than relying on two pins to hold the connection. Anyway this was a extremely difficult job, I took a number of photos during the process and if people are interested in learning how to do this themselves I will right and post a guide.

I am definitely interested. I have a f430, a little older, but anything you can pass on to me would help.
