Hi, my friend's laptop LCD lid has been damaged, and is in need of replacement. The screen is fine, it's only the outer plastic shell that was damaged. She has already talked to the customer service, to be quoted over $300, which sounds like an overpayment.

Would there be a good place to get ahold of the replacement lid, preferably at a reasonable price?

    Thanks in advance.

Look at the bottom of page 3 and also at page 4 for LCD COVER SUB ASM. Which part number you need depends on the color of the laptop and they are different prices.

Once you find the right color, you can then search google, ebay, other sites by part number. For instance there is a relatively cheap used gray assembly that ships worldwide from the UK on eBay or you can order from sparepartswarehouse.

Thank you! We'll look into that.
