Has anybody successfully replaced their HDD with a SSD?

Ive got a z690 with a 320G Hdd. I mount it on a treadmill to watch movies while running..It recently began abruptly shutting down from vibration. I'm guessing it might be the HDD (or some hard to find internal loose connection  ). Thinking maybe puttng in a SSD might help..
