    Replacing the FZ190 Hard Drive - Help

    Hello, my hard drive has been giving me many problems lately, and I have to replace it.

    the one that is in my fz190 is: TOSHIBA MK8034GSX 80GB

    would this be a suitable replacement?:

    if so, i understand how to take out the hard drive, though would i also have to remove the cage?:

    Yes, you would have to unscrew the cage and then pull the plastic film on the left.

    wait thats all i had to do?!??! i just bought an external lacie with firewire 800 express card.... instead of replacing the hard drive, thought i'd have to actually open the computer ....=(
