I think I know the answer, but I just want to double check:

the HDD bay in the SA series the standard 2.5" drive right? so the standard 2.5" SSD will fit perfectly inside right?

    And the memory is a DDR3 1333MHz 106666 SO-DIMM RAM right?

    Thanks in advance.

Also, is it possible to put the HDD that I take out from the SA, and insert it into the optical drive via a caddy?

    Yes and no,

Yes it is a standard size bay, but depending on what drive/s you have in your SA you may have a Sata plug and mounting brackets for a 2.5" drive, a mounting bracket for 2 custom 1.8 inch Micro SATA SSDs and a single MicroSATA plug, or the same 1.8" mounting bracket and 2 Micro SATA plugs.

so can't really answer how you can or can't upgrade without more detail on which buildout you are consider.

As for memory, it standard memory slot. Just make sure you get something fast enough and compatible and you are good to go.

As another option, you can drop your DVD drive for a second harddrive bay.. Thats what most of us have ended up doing.
