Everyone has been bashing the SZ keyboard about how unusual it feels and I tend to agree. After using a vaio FS the other day I automatically fell in love with the keyboard. It's perfect and much better than the one on my SZ. I'm thinking about buying a FS replacement keyboard and putting it on my SZ. The size is identical and with a bit of modification I'm sure it'll fit. Can anyone tell me which FS models have a black keyboard? And has anyone tried this before?

    Thanks

I honestly dont believe itll work, but it may be worth a shot....
Most FS models have white keyboards, I think, but they use the same keyboard as the FJ which has a black model...
In the FS, check for ones with the "/B" at the end of the model name

IMHO it would be pure dumb luck if the ribbon cable from the FE matched [or could even be made to match] the pin layout let alone the connector width of the SZ motherboard.
