    Hello,

I have a VPCZ21SHX which I haven't taken apart yet. Can the drive on it be upgraded from 128GB to 250GB?

As far as I know, it can. If you confirm that I happen to be parting out my Z2's 256GB SATA III SSD. It - and the rest of the computer - are in perfect working order, but my son whacked the lid and side casing causing irreparable cracks and the parts to replace total $700! I haven't even come up with a price for the three major reusable parts - 1080p screen, 256GB SSD and Sandy Bridge i7-2640 with Motherboard.

Thanks for the info. What exactly do you mean by "1080p Screen $150 in New"?
Is there a good source for this kind of data?

Yes, search for LT131EE11000 on ebay and you will see it.
LT131EE11000 is part number of 1080p Full HD LCD Screen which is used in Z1, Z2 and SVZ (Z3).
LT131EE12000 is part number of 900p (1600x900) LCD screen which is used by those Z above.

I'm really sorry, but it's a misprint; it's only 6GB RAM - and everyone told me I shouldn't get it without 8, but when I bought this it was a "special edition" gold model and it was a very, very good price at the time. I don't suppose you'd have any use for the 6GB, eh? That's why I didn't even list it as one of the parts I was expecting to sell. Sorry. Jeff

Hey, thanks so much for your info. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner; I've been sick for a while. Really appreciate the effort. What would you think a used 1080p would be worth if you can get a new one for $150? $100? Are the replacements made by the same mfr as the OEM, or just to the same specs

    Best,
    Jeff
