    Hi. could you please mod my bois, i only need the advanced menu unlocked.
    Its a sony vaio vpcsb16fg.
    original bios download page from sony-

    BIOS Update version R1031H4 : Download : Sony Asia Pacific
    Its windows 7 ultimate, 64bit.

    Any help would be appreciated. also kindly let me know if theres another way to unlock the advance option under bios, i want to change the behavior function key to 'multimedia first'

    I dont think this particular model and bios support that function anyways, even if you unlock it.

    Have a read in my Custom S-Buttons post (see my signature). You need to know the application that gets startet upon pressing the button. Then replace its particular .exe file with my loader and you can select whatever application you want to use with your button.

    hi. thanks for your reply but im looking to change the behavior of the function keys, right now i have to press FN key + F2 to mute the volume and so on , i want to change the function to multimedia keys first, so that when i press F2, it mutes the volume and when i press FN + F2, it takes as F2. and similarly for the other F keys. i think dell has an option under bios which is called "change the function keys to 'multimedia first' ''. i was wondering if sony had a similar option or if theres a software to do so.

    hi. i recently stumbled upon this script. it changes the behavior of the fn keys and Function keys. but i think it was written while keeping dell laptop in mind casue the F3 key works as brightness down where as i want the f3 kek to decrease the volume and so on.
    Here is the link to the script (.exe ).
    Let me know if anyone could please modify it, i can let you know what keys should trigger which commands.
