I bought my FZ 150 a month or so ago and am going to return it, but I put a lot of data/software on it that I would like to delete all at once and not leave a trace. Could someone please tell me how to factory restore (is that what it's called?) my FZ or point me to a thread/site where it's already been done? It would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Have you burned recovery disks, if so, then you can those. It will restore the laptop to factory condition, i.e. when you received it. So, it will remove all data and software you have installed. If you donot have restore disks then you can boot from the restore partition on the hard drive (normally its hidden). I think you have to press F10 while booting up.

Ok, thanks, but will this permanantly delete the data that I have saved on there, or could it still be recovered?
