    Hi all,

I've bought a Sony Vaio SR290 at the beginning of this month it costs about 1380$ inclusive taxes, Then i found the Lenovo IdeaPad U330. And it seems very popular -The lenovo- and reliable than the SR and it has one major capability in the Multiple graphics. but unfortunately only equipped with Home Vista OS unlike the SR that have a business Vista and a downgrade XP. Rest of the specifications are quite the same.

If i can return my SR. I bought it from SonyStyle.com, Does it worth to wait again for the U330 and my be paying the taxes twice. I intend to use this machine for the next 3 years at least and i wanna be comfortable with it. The price for the lenovo is the same as the Sony. but i found too many people say they can get it for 1000$ or less, Where to find these prices?.

I forgot to say that i'm not a USA resident, a friend bought it for me from there and will ship it for me. And i'm delaying the shipping till now - i don't care about the warranty, as it's crap here in my country even if i bought from the local market, and the prices here are at least the double with a five years aged models -

All i need is portable laptop under a 4.2 bounds and a respectable processing and a wise memory. I started the journey with Dell XPS 1330 which has a serious defected Graphic cards as i found here in the forum. then found the SR that may be have a problem with the battery and a fancy switchable buttons that i don't need, The Vaio Z and it's price is too hot. Then i'm here convinced with IdeaPad U330 and don't know what problems it may have.

And my concluding question again; Does it worth to return the Vaio SR and get the IdeaPad U330?

this is a hard question to answer for many reasons because whenever i "recommend" a notebook that is 13" it is almost always the Vaio SR and the Lenovo U330 by any chance when you say multiple graphics do you mean when the ATI 3450 and the intel GMA work together? You wont lose out, these are two fine notebooks best of luck to ya!

I mean the great functionality of the ATI 3450 when you need extensive graphic processing, and the great battery life you got when using the Intel integrated graphic card.

Anyway thank you very much for your reply
