Hey guys, I recently bought a customized vaio se off of the sony website and I am starting to realize that it really isn't what I wanted. I'm going into a chem E major and I think a lenovo is more my speed. I read through the return stuff but they don't really mention customized laptops. Can I return it? Thanks

Look at my review of my customized Vaio T, I was able to return it with a full refund. All I had to pay for was shipping. If you ship out before the expiration date on the RMA, you will be fine. I did ground shipping with Fedex, which is very cheap.

The only thing you cannot return is a laptop with an engraving.

I'm also interested in this..is it possible to get a full refund? The website says you can only get a repair or return if you find a defect...

I returned a customized 13P about a month back by printing out the RMA from the online Sony shop and paying the shipping myself. I was afraid of the disclaimer on the site too, but Sony accepted mine and refund the money without any issue.
