Last night I went on the Sony website to view the SZ-series to see if anything new was on the site, and they had placed the SZ-160P/C back on the page and ready to order. Apparently today I called Sony and they confirmed that they will continue placing the model on and off their site to sell the remaining SZ-160's since their being replaced by a new sony laptop in June and an SZ-180 with 2,500 to 2,600$ price range. I find it rediculous on Sony's part to keep on placing and taking off a laptop model until people buy all the units remaining. I wonder if the discontinuation had to do with any problems on the model.

Heh, I'm sure if there were any *serious* issues with the SZ160 we would have heard about them here.

I mean we've certainly heard about all the NON-serious issues, including completely fictitious ones... :)
