hi, just got my new s 580 vaio,
    config 2ghz, Gforce 6400 etc

The problem is all games installed comfortably on it like fifa2005, cricket 2005. But when the games are run, the gameplay speed is extremely fast.
The players keep running at extreme speeds. tried every possible setting within the game but couldnt figure out how to solve the problem. Seems to me some problem with the graphics card's setting.
    Any help appreciated
    thanks

Wow, games run too fast? I am not familiar with those games, but you could try going to the power panel and force the machine to run at a slower speed. I just hope it's not too slow afterwards.

The same with my S4XRP (I think it's something like S480). First of all, you can just reboot, sometimes yuo have to do it twice, and usualy the game run with normal speed after it.
Second one - try to change video drivers to the newest one (take them on laptopvideo2go.com). I hope it will help you!

Go to your power management and change your power setting to Always On. This will almost assuredly fix your problem.
