I'm looking for a laptop to use for photo editing and am not familiar with Sony laptops but I like the sounds of the XBrite screen, it will be used mostly on a desktop as a second computer at home, but will travel with me occasionally on photo shoots. Is the XBrite screen up to the task of photo editing? Has anyone tried to calibrate the xbrite screen? Would you suggest the S or FS series for this use, I will be using photoshop CS as the primary software on this computer. Both the small size of the S and the large screen of the FS are appealing.

I have the FS and use it for Photoshop/Painter/Video work. (painting more than photos) The screen is great, but while working in Photoshop on it, you must remember that the screen is far brighter than most of the screens that other people will be viewing your work on. (Brighter than my pro CRT cranked all the way up) Therefore, things can look great on the laptop and look too dark elsewhere. I'm used to it now and actually toggle the brightness on the screen every once in a while just to make sure things aren't coming out too dark. I highly recommend the laptop despite its flaws. The low resolution of the monitor might annoy some artists who are used to large workspaces, but I'd rather have the pixels be large enough that I can actually discern them.
