    I was planning on buying the s15 but they are gone from the Sony site and other sites.

    Are they continuing it?

    They most likely will be announcing its replacement next week at IFA.

    Maybe the refreshed model will ship by the middle to end of September after IFA? I'm looking to get one too, Sony needs the S Series because now there's a big hole in their laptop lineup.

    Sony needs another powerful multimedia laptop. Right now they don't really have anything like that.
