I clean install both xp & Vista on my Z540, everything is good Except the S1 and S2 key do not work as it should be. Now, they wrongly show Volume control or Brightness control when pressing them.

I did follow the reference below and did install the key drivers and utilities in specific order, however the s1 and s2 still do not work correctly.

Who can help me to resolve this problem?

    Thanks

What happens if you hold down either S1 or S2 buttons? This should bring up the config panel so you can reassign the buttons to other settings.

InfyMcGirk, thank you so much, you are right.

    I installed dual os (xp+vist) for my z540, I love it. :D :D
