Is there a way to change the S1 button to act as a power button?
I have a VAIO FW and I believe the wires in the power button are loose
I often have to press the button multiple times at different angles to turn my laptop on.
Could I change the BIOS perhaps?

    No way...
Except if you change internal wiring...

    Have it repaired under warranty.
