    S11 production delays in UK?

    My dad purchased an S11 over the phone around 3 weeks ago which was meant to reach us this coming week. We checked the status of the order last week - Sony said that due to a lack of parts production hasn't even started. They said that production will START around 15th of May and the laptop will reach us by the end of the month - totalling almost 2 months to make and send us a laptop! What's even worse is that at the time we ordered all parts that were in stock, as there were some things we changed which were out of stock at the time.

    Has anybody ordered an S11 in the last few weeks and not had delays/got the laptop? We're going to cancel the order if we have to wait another month for it...

    Ok so we spoke to Sony again a few days later saying that we're going to cancel if it's not with us mid May, and they said that they'll be able to have it at our door by the 18th, so we decided to stick with it. Come the 18th and they said that it only began manufacturing on the 15th and it will be with us next month...pathetic! They tell us one thing, then another, then back to the first story again!

    They have now said that it will ship tomorrow or the day after. Has anyone else had problems with getting their S11's?? This is really frustrating, we only stayed with them as they said they'd get it to usmid May but now it'll be over 2 months since ordering!
