    Hey guys,

i'm intrested in a Sony Vario S13 notebook. But before I going to buy it, i have some questions. Maybe you can help me..? :)
First, this is the model I would buy: Sony Vaio SVS13A2W9ES - Intel Core i7-3520M 2.90GHz (Bundle Dock) - SVS13A2W9ES.G4_Bundle Dock de Notebooks Laptops billiger notebook.de

    Now my questions:
    1. Is it possible to install Windows 7 (x64) ? Are alle drivers for W7 available on the Sony Support Page?
(I had problems to find drivers for my old asus notebook … that’s the reason I ask :) )

    2. It seems that the S13 has two SSD’s with RAID 0. Is it possible to remove both of them and to install a bigger SSD (Samsung 850 / 250 GB) + a normal HDD with 300/600 GB? Is it possible to disable the RAID or can I create two new virtual volumes?

    3. Is it possible to use two external monitors at the same time?
I read that under normal conditions only one plug physically fits .But how does it works if I have a Dockingstation? Is there any problem?

    Thanks for your help! ;)

Yes, they are all available on Sony's support page.

Sony's SSDs are a proprietary format - it has two small drives that fit together in a standard 2.5" space and use a special connector. The only way to install a second drive is to remove the optical drive and install a HDD there with an adaptor.

I would suggest buying it with the most basic HDD and just buying a SSD yourself - you will save a lot of money that way. It won't be as fast as the RAID setup, but it's still quite good.
