I began looking for a Vaio S360, and for some reason (that is, I don't know what I'm doing), I'm not seeing much of a difference between the S360 and the S150. Looking at a Refurbished system from UBid, (http://www.ubid.com/actn/opn/getpage.asp?AuctionId=10417683&refLoc=searchall) is around 1000-1100. Why is this not a good deal, and why should I stay away from S150 (since I think I'm missing something)? Also, should I stay away from refurbished Sony anyway? Any advice would be appreciated..

    thanks

The s150 uses an integrated video card while the s360 has the ATI 9700 which is much better graphics card. If you are not planning on playing games, you are probably better off with the integrated card since they are less expesive laptops. The s150 on ubid also has only a 90 day warranty. I personally would shy away from buying a refurbed notebook. If were to go wrong after the 90 days are up, it will be expensive to fix. Since it is refurbished, it may have already been fixed once. You want to have a years warranty to let everything shake out. Good Luck.

I was robbed by a sweet little old lady on a motorized cart and I didn't even see it coming.

S150 has Radeon 9200 with 32 MB VRAM, not integrated. However, I do not recommend people buying refurbished laptop, especially on-line.
