    S170 DVD-RW specs?

    Can anyone tell me what speed the DVD-RW option for the S170 is? Also, is it "-" only or does it burn "+" also?

    Both -R and +R media can be used.

    I've only tried -R media which it writes at 2x, I'd guess it's the same for +R.

    Not sure on the CDR speeds, maybe 24x.

    No, the S170 burner is "-" only, no +.

    It just got replaced with the S270, and I *think* that the S270 lets you do both.
