    S170 Display problem...

    The whole left side of the screen appears out of sync, with the image blurry and shaky. Any clue on what this could be?

    I would try reinstalling the video drivers, see if that helps. You can find them on Sony's support site, or on the drivers disc you got with the notebook.

    But, it sounds like your display is defective - I would call Sony and ask to have it replaced. Do what I said above though, it's worth a try.
