    What's the difference?
    I want (for my wife, actually :)) - 1.8 or 2GHz Dothan w/ 9700 and wide LCD but I don't care about DVDRW - combo drive is fine for me. Wireless is mandatory, Bluetooth would be good but not for extra $3-400...

    I already nixed Apple's Powerbook 15" 1.5GHz and Dell's 700m - so I'll stick with the Vaio, namely the S series - but which one?

    Forgot to mention: main reason Vaio became the chosen is Sony offers at least (!) $400 trade-in - here: https://www.sony.tradeups.com/easy.asp
