    Hey guys,

I downloaded a program called SpeedswtichXP at http://www.diefer.de/speedswitchxp/ and I did a simple test of regular internet browsing...nothing CPU intensive for long periods of time as you can see. With the LCD at it's lowest setting and SpeedswitchXP set to Max battery I got about 6 hours and 10 minutes of battery life with WiFi on the whole time.

That number is pretty good compared to my last test of 4 hours for internet surfing, WiFi OFF, USB Bluetooth adapter on and connected to my phone for GPRS internet, and lowest LCD brightness.

I also get about 3-4 hours with Wifi on, internet browsing and screen set to about 80% of brightness. I guess Centrino spec Wifi is more power efficient than my USB bluetooth adapter. I wonder what it's like with built in bluetooth....

Try the program out guys and lets see what battery times we can get. Take care!
