    S360 vs. S380 concerning FSB??

    I understand those two are very different seeing how the 360 is a retail version and the 380 is only available as customized from the Sonystyle website.

    However, my question between the two is this.

    Is it worth it to build the 380 juts to get the 533mhz FSB?

    That seems to be the biggest difference between the two.

    I understand the other downside is that sony charges tax and way to much for shipping. That is one mark against building a 380.

    Unless you are a heavy number cruncher like an engineer or a mathematician, you wouldn't notice too much the benefit brought by the Sonoma platform (including the 533 MHz FSB, DDR2 RAM, PCI-e graphic interface and a bunch of other changes). Another point taken away from S380 is its weaker video card. In most cases, you really just buy the S380 in new platform to be future-proof.
