I was trying to configure a S380 on the web site and it states the XBRITE is only available if you get a/b/g netowrking?

I need to buy this from a reseller through my university so is the only way to get a good screen is to find one with "a" netoworking?

The reseller for the university usually only has access to certain pre-configured business models, such as the ones listed here:

    http://b2b.sony.com/Solutions/pages/VAIO-Spec/S380.html

You would have to choose from the list instead of just trying to use the "configurator" in the typical home purchase section of sonystyle.com.

I think it is one of Sony's weird configuration things. Their site sucks. I've never heard of a newer S series not having an Xbrite.
