    Hi,

My s460p all of the sudden when i connected the input jack from my stereo to the laptop's green audio output jack (i don't know the exact way to describe it) it did that low frequency sound like when you pinch an input jack to your stereo with your fingers. wiggling the jack didnt work, i tried a couple of other ones because i thought maybe the cord was the problem. Then i just tried putting my headphones in and it was still bad, like only partial sound on one side. So basically, i think internally the audio jack is messed up. How do i go about fixing this? If i have an extended warranty should i send this to sony or will that take weeks. What's the quickest way to fix this? Same things happen like this to ipods all the time but in a sony vaio it just seems cheap that something like that would occur in this product.

Anyways, any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks :)
